Cheng and Lee Family :)

Baby's due date is 23 Dec... It's gonna be a Christmas Baby !! However I can foresee how HOT gonna be here.... Mum will be visiting early Dec and stay back for around 2 months....

I do miss my family in HK..
Mum .. Even u ask her not to buy stuff for baby or pregnant women clothes for me.. She will still do as she likes it... but I appreciate what she does ....
Daddy will be visiting me possibly after baby's arrival..
Dai Gor and girlfriend hopefully will be able to come and visit.. Dai gor had been really nice to me .. He called once per 2-3 weeks just to check out how 'we' are doing and they bought some lovely pressie...especially the bibs !!! So cute (well .....Ping bought them)









I miss my 2 Gor and 2 So who are in Beijing :) so dun think they would be able to visit but they are always in my mind...

Mother and Father in law are always nice to me, I would say they are the best in laws u could ever have!! Sis in law is always here for US (3 of us I mean).... Haha We 'utilize' her a lots ..... Basically they will shop and buy and make decisions for me as I have "decision making decease"
.... Hahah ... I know we would need a lot of assistance from all of them later on or for the rest of our life (to be exact) !!!

Simon has been cleaning our precious GTI at home.... It's one of the things you can't be lazy and you need to pay effort to do it !!!! (the car he's washing belongs to Karen's)

Summary of changes..

Believe it or not... Baby is really good at finding carpark spot .... Baby loves golden casket ... I never win anything from gold lotto , occasionally won some scratchies.... However with the baby, we win more often ... Extra money just enough to cover her nappies price hahah ... Maybe becoz she knows how expensive they are...

What else ? Simon (daddy) no longer a WOW person .... We all go to bed around 9:30 to 10ish .. Very healthy life ... My finger nails are much stronger than it used to be... Healthy nails...

We bought less Lego our fav!
If the baby likes Lego then we would gave excuse to buy eventually hahahha

At work , my colleagues will remind me to 'stand up' and have a walk ... Just to make sure I won't be stuck to my desk for hours ....

I have been more discipline !!!! Day day listen to Babyplus ... 1 hr in the morning and 1 hr in the evening ... (Thanx to Zoe) check out www.babyplus.com.
Day day rub Bio Oil to myself.... Day day drink milk or metamucil if possible .....
Day day write blog or little note in my Paul Frank organizer (a thoughtful gift from my best friend Man in HK) .....
Everything seems to become Day Day habit .... And I am enjoying every moment of it !

I would say baby is our lucky charm ...who makes everyone full of luck and joy always :)

We went Rocklea Market for breakky yesterday morning ... Yummy German Sausage !






Also bought new iphone cases ... Purple for me ..Orange for Simon and Green for Karen ... Pretty pretty

Baby say thank you...

After being pregnant, we actually need to say 'Thank You' to a lot of friends, they have been very supportive to me, Simon and BB...especially Andy Zvina, Andy Becky, Jacky Zoe and Frankie June ... U guys have provided a lot of useful tips being parents while Simon and I are blur blur all the time

Of course we love all the 'like' and 'comments' on facebook .... We realized there are a lots ppl care about us... So touched and loved thank you thank you...

I missed drinking coffee sometimes ... And I figured a way to pretend I am drinking... Haha
Hot milk please !




p.s hopefully this blogging habit continues... I am sure my baby(s) will be able to read one day ...

What to eat ???

What to eat ? I always ask myself this question after I am pregnant... I actually lost 5kg since I am pregnant... Reasons? No more frozen coke ... Ice milk tea..KFC... Junk food....more n more.... I guess!
I actually don't mind the losing weight part but I do miss Sashimi and Frozen Coke haha
I really hope my careful selection of food will be beneficial to my dearest baby

I found it funny while talking to my colleagues, whenever I tell them bits and bits of Chinese tradition for a pregnant women, they all looked so amazed or thinking I must be weird/strange/silly....
Such as : no hair washing for the month after giving birth...
no mandarin / banana etc..no squatting... Lots n lots

Yesterday morning I was so happy and felt so lucky ... I have been looking for purple cola glass from Maccas everywhere but they were all sold out and out of my hope .... There it is !!!
Last one !!! Lucky me
Now we have one blue n one purple ... Our fav colour

Baby's moving ....

Baby has been moving quite a bit lately... The feeling is a bit hard to describe.... Sometimes it feels like the baby pinched u, poked u, scratched u.. Haha very interesting feeling ... Ppl said it should feel like butterfly flying in the stomach ... I am not sure with my senses anymore ...seems like someone playing piano...Happy feeling for sure!!

Anyway lately I realize when ever Simon drives...and if the road is bumpy... Baby will have the same effect afterwards... Baby seems like dancing really really fast in my stomach ...
Very funny feeling I must say.. maybe the word 'fluttering' suits the meaning....
Simon has been able to feel baby's little movement at night and Karen encountered the first baby fluttering feeling last night ....I am sure as time goes by... Baby will be more and more active and all my friends will be able to feel it...can't wait!

I am very careful with every step I walk ... Every door I pass... As I know my precious baby is with me and with my clumsiness ... I should be more alert with my daily 'movements' haha

Last night we went Cyber City for dinner :) Cyber City is actually the first place where Simon and I met....

Blood tests

I don't like blood tests...
unfortunately I have to do it pretty often with my medical conditions ... Today I have to do this GTT ... Glucose test ... Blood test first then drink a bottle of Glucose drink (taste like lemonlade) wait for TWO hours then another blood test ....
Sigh .... Time is running so slow and baby and I are starving ... Coz' I needed to fast before mas well ....

Living in Brisbane is a lot different....the main entertainment for us is 'Dinner with Friends' (sounds lame isn't it) but what else can we do?? We went to 上海狂抄.. Not too bad .. I wanted to eat 小籠包!
We love spending time with our close friends... especially with 'Them'...Leo said he favorite is 豆辦醬...

Our precious Megan...

We had dinner with Megan and Chris last night at the Sunnybank Hotel... The steak was yummy...and we had dessert 雅滋甜品 at the new shop in plaza ... Not as expected but better than nothing i guess...




Megan is a very special gal to me and Simon... Her smile brightens your day... Her voice makes u laugh.. Her silliness makes your day !!!
M: oh jei jei 姐姐... Be careful ... I will lift that box... (the box is not heavy at all )
M: oh jei jei 姐姐... Be careful.. There is car coming .. ( the car is couple meters away)
M: I can't eat while driving as u are a very precious cargo ... (even if I feed her)
M: U are so adorable ... U are so cute jei jei :) (even I dun think so.. Cute doesn't really match me)

She says these lovely things that just melt in your heart...
We both hope our baby's heart will be just like Megan's little angel heart :) also if our baby likes studying just as Megan that would be good ... Hahaha

She is also a little hard working bird at our post office :)
